Meghalaya State Quota Admission – Application Form Available

Meghalaya State Quota Admission – Directorate of Health Services Meghalaya, Shillong has released the application forms for the Medical Studies in the state of Meghalaya, i.e. MBBS and BDS courses. The application forms are now available in the office of Directorate of Health Services Meghalaya, Shillong. The last date of the issue of application form is until 24th August 2016. This application form is for the state quota of seats in various Medical and Dental Colleges I India.

Candidates have to collect the application form from the office of Directorate of Health Services Meghalaya, Shillong during the office hours and have to submit the filled application form on or before 24th August at 4 PM. Candidates who are the permanent resident or indigenous inhabitants of Meghalaya can apply in this State Quota. Candidates must be 10+2 pass out with minimum qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English. A candidate also should qualify the NEET examination 2016.

Also, candidates who have completed the age of 17 years or will complete the age on or before 31str December can apply for this session. There is an upper age limit of 5 years for ST, SC, and other backward category candidates.

It will be complete merit based selection. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks secured in the NEET 2016 examination. Rank wise candidates will get the seats in the medical college.

Meghalaya State Quota – Offline Application Form

Form will be distributed offline in the office. Have to submit the form to the along with the amount of the application fee. Candidates have to pay the application fee with a Demand Draft issued from any Nationalised Bank of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred and Fifty) only and Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred) for ST/SC candidates, payable to the Director of Health Services (MI), Meghalaya, Shillong.

Candidates Can Submit The Forms In The Office Of The Director Of Health Services at Shillong And The District Medical & Health Officer, West Garo Hills, Tura.

  • Original and Photocopy of 10th and 12th Standard Mark sheet
  • NEET Result Sheet and Admit Card
  • Caste Certificate
  • Permanent Resident Certificate
  • Character Certificate
  • Passport Size Photograph

Candidates have to show their original documents at the time of the admission. After submitting the forms, candidates will be selected. The eligible candidates will be selected by the authority of the Meghalaya State Quota and merit list will be published in the official page of Directorate of Health Services Meghalaya, Shillong.

  • sir i am from rajasthan and not qualified for 15% quota but having 1957 rank in st cat. what is the process for counseling who is qualified for neet but not for 15% and is there any chance to get college with this rank ??

    1. avinash khora you can get seat in the 85% quota…i.e. u can get seat in govt colleges of your domicile( from where you have done your 11 n 12 …if rajasthan then u will be eligible for all govt. colleges in rajasthan…make sure you fill the application form of those colleges online/offline whatever is required…these colleges will then make list of all students in 85% quota then accordingly rank list is made n you may get admission…it depends on varios factors (the cutoff..,if students ahead of you take seat in aipmt 15% counselling in some other collees on delhi etc then u can get seat…..u analyse your own rank if u thinkm there is possiblity of not getting any seat then you should fill application forms of private colleges also..the processes is the same
