NEET 2018 Cut off – Category-Wise (Gen/OBC/SC/ST)
Result for the NEET 2018 will be declared soon on the website of Central Board of Secondary Education. After the declaration of the result, the counselling process for will be started, coducted by MCC. Every college will set their own cut off marks. The candidates who qualify the cut off marks prepared by the colleges will be able to get admission in different Medical and Dental colleges in India. The NEET 2018 cut off marks will be released by different colleges soon after declaration of the NEET 2018 examination. The cut off marks is the minimum marks required to get into any colleges and Universities. Every colleges set different cut off marks according to the percentage of students. The cut off marks will be calculated on the basis of below mentioned dimensions:
- The total number of candidates appeared in the examination
- Number of seats available in different colleges
- Difficulty level of the examination (NEET 2018)
- Category wise cut off marks (cut off marks will be released on the basis of the category of students. There is a relaxation of seats for OBC, SC, and ST candidates)
- Marking pattern set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
NEET 2018 – Qualifying Marks
We are providing the qualifying marks for NEET 2018 examination. Qualifying marks are set category wise. There is a relaxation for the OBC, SC, and the ST candidates. The candidate who score the below mentioned marks will be eligible to apply in different colleges in India. The all India ranking will also be released soon. Below is the qualifying mark for the NEET examination category wise.
- General Category Candidate: Candidate has to score 360 total marks out of 720. The qualifying percentage is 50%.
- OBC, SC, and ST Category Candidates: 288 marks out of 720. Qualifying mark in percentage is 40%.
- General – PH: 324 marks out of 720. Qualifying percentage is 45%.
- Reserved – PH: 288 marks out of 720. Qualifying percentage is 40%.
NEET 2018 – Category Wise Official Cut Off Marks
Many said that the NEET paper was easy and some said that it was quite hard. After the declaration of the result, the main scene will be out to the candidates. The CBSE board will soon release the cut off marks on the official website. Here we are providing the expected cut off marks for the NEET 2018. Cut off marks for unreserved category is 131, 118 marks for Physically handicapped category and for all other candidates, it is 107 marks.
