NEET 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the NEET UG 2025 choice-filling deadline to August 11, 2025. As per the revised schedule, Round 1 seat processing is expected to begin on August 12, 2025.
The NEET UG 2025 seat allotment result will display the candidate’s rank along with the allotted college. Candidates whose names appear in the allotment list must report to their respective colleges within the given timeframe.

- Register & Pay Fees – Complete online registration and pay the required fees, including the security deposit.
- Fill & Lock Choices – Select preferred colleges and lock your choices.
- Seat Allotment Result – MCC will release the NEET UG seat allotment list.
- Report to Allotted College – Submit documents and confirm admission.
- Vacant Seats List – MCC will publish the list of remaining seats after each round.

Can You Participate in Round 2 Without New Choices?
No. As per MCC guidelines, fresh choice filling is mandatory for Round 2 seat allotment. Candidates who fail to submit new preferences during the Round 2 window will not be considered for a new seat and will retain their already allotted seat (if joined). Re-registration is also required for Round 2, even if you registered in Round 1.

The Round 1 seat matrix for NEET includes seats from multiple quotas and institutions across India:

- BHU Open Quota – 100% MBBS and BDS seats of Banaras Hindu University.
