NEET UG counselling 2026 is under way. Checked on 9 October 2026: MCC has published its Round 3 final allotment result. Candidates should follow their allotment letter, reporting instructions and the latest official notices. The dates below refer to 2026, not the previous admission cycle.
All India counselling for MBBS/BDS
MCC conducts the All India Quota and the applicable central, deemed, AIIMS, JIPMER and ESIC admissions listed in its 2026 bulletin. State authorities conduct their own admissions. The 15% AIQ / 85% state-quota split is a general government-college rule, not a universal rule for every institution.

Joining and upgrades
MCC’s revised 2026 bulletin provides Freeze and Float choices in Round 1 and Round 2. Freeze candidates complete physical joining; Float candidates complete online joining, document upload and verification while seeking an upgrade. Candidates must meet the reporting-period requirements shown in their allotment instructions. Physical reporting is mandatory after Round 3 for Round 3 allottees and Float candidates retaining their earlier seat. Read the round-specific exit and forfeiture conditions before accepting a seat.
