Read the result with the joining notice
Find your name or candidate number in the seat result. Check the institute and seat category. Then check how to accept the seat and when to join. Read which original papers to bring.
Getting a seat is one step. You still need to join. Keep the seat letter, your acceptance record and receipts. Save the institute’s proof of admission too.
What the open-round deposit covers
Notice 150/2026 required a ₹25,000 security deposit for the open round. It also required candidates to register and submit choices. Payment alone did not complete those steps.
The notice said candidates who failed to join the allocated institute would lose that deposit. Keep it separate from tuition and hostel fees. Use the rule for the round on your receipt.
Prepare the records your course needs
Read the course prospectus and institute checklist. Keep proof of ID, age and school marks together. Add test records and any category or PwBD papers you need.
For Post Basic Nursing, check which nursing records you need. These include proof of the required course and registration. Confirm hostel arrangements and campus fees before planning the move.
If you are planning for the next admission cycle
Wait for that cycle’s own prospectus and dates. Read its paper pattern, marking rules and complete registration steps. Saving a basic profile does not always finish an application.
Save proof that you applied and paid. If a step is unclear, use the support route shown in your AIIMS dashboard.
