Puducherry MBBS Counselling NEET UG 2025 – Medical Admission
CENTAC Puducherry has officially started the online registration for MBBS and BDS counselling for the academic year 2025–26. Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 and wish to take admission in Government or Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Puducherry can now register online.But before you proceed, let’s first understand the eligibility and counselling process in Puducherry.
Puducherry MBBS Counselling 2025
Only candidates qualified in NEET 2025 are eligible to participate in CENTAC counselling. The entire admission process is conducted online only on the official website of CENTAC.
Admissions are offered into the following quota types:
Government Quota (GQ)
Management Quota (MQ)
Minority Quota (Christian/Telugu)
NRI/NRI Sponsored/OCI/FN
Self-Supporting Seats (in Government colleges)
Who Can Apply?
To apply under Government Quota, you must be a resident of Puducherry. The residence eligibility is defined by:
Continuous residence of the candidate or parent in UT of Puducherry for the last 5 years.
OR continuous 5 years of study in recognized schools in Puducherry.
OR children of Central/State Govt/Defense/PSU employees posted in Puducherry for at least 3 years.
OR children of freedom fighters or government servants who died while in service.
