There are 7 Government and 2 Private MBBS colleges in Jharkhand. The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) is one of Jharkhand’s oldest and most well-known Medical colleges. In addition to MBBS, it offers BDS, M.D, M.S, Postgraduate diploma courses, and many more. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is responsible for medical admission in the state based on NEET score.
NEET 2024 was successfully conducted on May 5, 2024. Though some claims about the NEET paper leak on social media were made, NTA rejected all of them, tagging them as baseless. Though it accepted that there was a problem in the Rajasthan centre, the paper was distributed in different languages. Candidates who suffered from mistakes made by local authorities will need to appear in the exam again.
