Ranchi, Jamshedpur and the newer district options
RIMS Ranchi has 250 places in the NMC snapshot. MGM Medical College in Jamshedpur has 150. Dumka, Hazaribagh and Palamu each have 100. Use those named campuses to organise your shortlist; a single “Jharkhand college” entry is too broad for fee and travel planning.
Manipal Tata Medical College, Baridih, Jamshedpur is a different campus from MGM. Keep the full name when checking the counselling route. For notified deemed choices, look in the deemed-university list. For the state route, start with the state counselling directory.
For a state-reserved claim, find the residence and category clause before gathering papers. Do not treat a postal address in Jharkhand as proof of every category. Record the certificate and issuing authority requested by that clause, then use the document guide to organise the folder.
Compare the teaching-hospital location with the hostel address at each shortlisted college. Use the cost sheet for tuition periods and living costs. The seat-matrix guide helps you read the current pool; the joining checklist covers the steps after allotment.
Questions for your Jharkhand shortlist
If Jamshedpur is your first choice, compare MGM and Manipal Tata as two seats. Their names, routes and bills belong on separate lines. Ask each campus for its current joining notice before using the city as your main reason to choose.
