There is no other valid PG medical entrance for these seats in the notified academic session. Missing the NEET PG application window means you cannot compete for the majority of recognized PG seats across India.
Where NEET PG Exam Scorecard is Valid?
NEET PG 2026 shall be the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS and even PG diploma courses. Following are the seats that will consider only NEET PG as a valid entrance test.
- All India 50% quota seats for all states of India (including UT).
- State quota counselling (including UT)
- All private Medical colleges and deemed Universities.
- Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions
- Post MBBS DNB/NBEMS courses, Direct 6 years DrNB courses.
Who will conduct NEET PG 2026?
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the NEET PG examination and publishes the results. However, NBEMS does not conduct counselling or seat allotment.
- All India Quota (AIQ) counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
- State quota counselling is handled by the respective state authorities.
Instructions to Fill NEET PG Application Form Online
Before you start filling out your NEET PG application form online, please read the information bulletin carefully. You should be aware of all terms and conditions mentioned in the bulletin before submission of the application form. Along with that, candidates must make sure all the information filled in the application is correct. Once submitted, the information cannot be changed, though there will be an edit window for a certain time to make any kind of changes to the application form.

- A candidate can submit NEET-PG 2026 application form only once.
- Make sure to fill out all the required fields and don’t skip any of them.
- Make sure your MBBS degree is recognized.

- Upload of Prescribed Images (Photograph, Scanned Signatures and Thumb Impression).

How to know your final NEET PG test centre?
NEET-PG 2026 shall be conducted by NBEMS at various exam centres across India. Once you submit your choices during application, the officials will assign a centre from the options you provided. The allotment will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis. The exact venue and address will be mentioned in your admit card. Please note that the test centre once assigned cannot be changed under any circumstances.
