There is no other entrance examination valid for Medical PG courses admission for the 2024-25 session. Qualifying NEET PG is required in order to gain admission to MD/MD/PG Diploma courses at various universities. There are more than 70 thousand PG seats in India.
Where NEET PG Exam Scorecard is Valid?
NEET PG 2024 shall be the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS and even PG diploma courses. Following are the seats that will consider only NEET PG as a valid entrance test.
- All India 50% quota seats for all states of India (including UT).
- State quota counselling (including UT)
- All private Medical colleges and deemed Universities.
- Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions
- Post MBBS DNB/NBEMS courses, Direct 6 years DrNB courses.
No separate entrance exams for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses by state gov/private medical colleges/universities for the session 2023-24.
Who will conduct NEET PG 2024?
NEET PG 2024 will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences(NBEMS). But note that NBEMS has no role in conducting conselling at any level (state or AIQ). NBEMS once conduct the exam and published the result. Conselling and allotment of PG seats will be done by designated counseling authority.
Instructions to Fill NEET PG Application Form Online
Before you start filling out your NEET PG application form online, please read the information bulletin carefully. You should be aware of all terms and conditions mentioned in the bulletin before submission of the application form. Along with that, candidates must make sure all the information filled in the application is correct. Once submitted, the information cannot be changed, though there will be an edit window for a certain time to make any kind of changes to the application form.

- Application for NEET-PG 2024 can only be submitted online through NBEMS website https://nbe.edu.in
- A candidate can submit NEET-PG 2023 application form only once.
- Make sure to fill out all the required fields and don’t skip any of them.
- Make sure your MBBS degree is recognized.
- Before applying, candidates should carefully review this bulletin to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. It is available at above mentioned official website.
- Upload of Prescribed Images (Photograph, Scanned Signatures and Thumb Impression).
- A acknowledgement email will be sent to your email once you successfully submitted the application.
- Choose your Test City and pay Examination Fee
- Take a print out of the filled Application form
- Incomplete application will be rejected.
NEET PG 2024 Important Dates
Update Jan 8: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially postponed the NEET PG 2024 exam to July 7, 2024. It was originally scheduled for March 3, 2024. Online registration for the PG entrance exam is expected to start soon. Additionally, the National Exit Test (NeXT) is postponed by a year.

How to know your final NEET PG test centre?
NEET-PG 2023 shall be conducted by NBEMS at various exam centres. Once you submit your choices, the official will assign a centre from the options you provided. The allotment shall be done on a first-come, first-serve basis. The exact venue will be informed to the candidates through admit cards. You cannot change the test centre once assigned.
