UP MBBS Counselling 2024 will start soon for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) is responsible for conducting Uttar Pradesh MBBS Counselling. Once official notification is released, candidates must register on the official website, upneet.gov.in.
Candidates should be aware admission to MBBS/ BDS courses in medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh is based on marks scored in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2024.
The UP NEET counselling in 2024 will allocate 85% of the seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET 2024 counselling to allocate the remaining 15% of seats as part of the All India Quota. The UP NEET 2024 counselling will be conducted in three rounds.

How to Register for UP NEET Counselling?
Candidates can register online by filling out an application form on upneet.gov.in. But remember that if you are not from Uttar Pradesh, you can only apply for a private seat (if you have passed 10th & 12th from Uttar Pradesh then you are eligible for Government & Private medical college). Ensure you complete it correctly because you cannot change the application form after submission. Candidates who have qualified NEET exam are eligible for Counselling.

Difference between 1st and 2nd rounds of counselling: In the first counselling round, you will get a chance to choose your preferred college. In the second counselling round, you must select from the colleges with available seats.
