Odisha has more than a thousand government MBBS seats. To be exact, there are 1050 government and 500 private seats. MKCG and SCB Medical institutes have the highest number of seats, 250. Every year, 30,000 to 40,000 candidates from the state appear in the NEET examination.  Candidates who qualify must attend the NEET counselling to complete the admission process.
