Bihar MBBS admission starts with NEET UG and the right counselling route. Your exam form does not register you for a seat. Find the seat pool first, then check the entry proof, college fees and joining steps.

Check entry before adding a college

Read the rule for the exact pool you want. Check your NEET result, age, school subjects and any state-residence or category condition. The proof for a state-reserved seat may differ from proof for another pool.

Write one line beside each choice: “I meet this rule with these records.” If a certificate is missing, sort it out before relying on that seat in your plan. The counselling document guide helps you organise the papers.

Shortlist with cost and campus in mind

Ask for the fee schedule that applies to your quota. Add each tuition period, hostel, food, other required fees and travel. Keep refundable deposits separate. A first-year figure alone cannot show the full bill.

Use the seat and cost comparison to put two seats on the same sheet. Read the MBBS bond checklist for service and exit terms. Ask where clinical teaching takes place and how students travel between the hostel and hospital.

From the shortlist to joining

• Check the current matrix and whether your status lets you enter the round.
• Place acceptable seats in the order you would prefer to join them.
• Save the submitted choices and allotment record.
• Follow the document, payment and reporting deadlines for that route.
• Keep the college’s joining record and receipts.
