Odisha MBBS Counselling 2025

OJEE will conduct the Odisha NEET counselling in 2025 to fill 85% of the state quota seats in MBBS and BDS courses offered by medical and dental colleges in the state. Usually, there are 3 rounds of counselling, but if some seats are remaining, OJEE might conduct a Mop-up counselling round.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell is expected to conduct three rounds of Odisha NEET counselling in 2025. They will also hold a spot round for admission to leftover seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.

Odisha MBBS 2025 Counselling Guidelines and Eligibility

• State Quota (85%): Only Odisha domicile candidates with NEET UG 2025 qualification can register for State Quota MBBS/BDS seats.
• NRI Quota: Both Odisha and non-Odisha NEET-qualified NRI/OCI candidates can register for NRI seats.
• Private Colleges: All seats are open for State candidates under OJEE counselling.
• Deemed Universities: These are not included in state counselling. Counselling for them is done by MCC/DGHS.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must be 17 years of age as of 31.12.2025 and there will
  be no upper age limit.
• The candidates must be permanent natives of Odisha, OR Children of All India Civil Service officers serving in the state of Odisha cadre.
• Candidate must have passed +2 Sc. must have secured a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at +2 Sc. level for General Candidate (GE), 40% for SC/ST and 45% for Locomotary disability of lower limbs candidates.

The minimum qualifying marks for different categories of candidates are as follows:
1. General (GE) – (50th percentile)
2. Physically Challenged (PC-GE) – (45th percentile)
3. Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Scheduled Caste (SC) – (40th percentile).
4. Physically challenged candidate of SC/ST category – (40th percentile).

• All the candidates who have qualified the NEET exam can register online at www.ojee.nic.in under Counselling for MBBS and BDS Courses.
• Select “New Candidate Registration”
• Enter your NEET details:
  • Application Number

• After filling up the registration form take a printout of it.
• After registration, you will get the date of document verification and venue. There, you will have to visit with the necessary documents personally.
• Make a nonrefundable demand draft(counselling fee).
