Uttar Pradesh MBBS Admission 2026: Routes and Colleges

For MBBS admission in Uttar Pradesh, first find the counselling route for your seat. Apply through UPNEET for its notified state seats or through MCC for the seats it handles. Then check your quota, documents and full fees.

Which application covers the seat?

Check the rule for your quota

Read the residence, schooling and category requirements for the seat you want. Write down the clause that covers you and the records it asks for.

A rule for a private seat may differ from the rule for a government state-quota seat. Confirm eligibility before budgeting with a lower fee row.

3. Read the fee and bond terms before adding the seat.
4. Put acceptable seats in the order you prefer.
5. Submit or lock choices as instructed, then save the final list.

Keep three payments separate

Record the application fee, counselling security deposit and college tuition on separate rows. For each one, note the amount, deadline, receipt and any refund rule.

Add hostel, food and other required charges to the college budget. Read the service and exit bond terms before treating a seat as a backup.

Prepare documents for verification

Use the checklist in the current UPNEET notice. Keep school records, NEET records and identity proof together. Add the residence, category or other certificates your quota requires.

Check names, dates and scanned pages before submitting them. Keep originals and the required copies ready for the next step.

After an allotment

Download the letter and read the reporting window. Complete document checks, required payments and joining. Save the college record that confirms admission.

If you plan to leave or seek an upgrade, read the rule for your round first. Save the formal confirmation of any exit, as well as the original allotment letter.
