One private college can have several seat pools
WBMCC handles the state route, including the notified 85% state-quota government seats. Its official page also lists state, management and NRI pools at private medical colleges.
These pool names matter. Residence proof, category rules and NRI records can differ. Use the current entry rules for your exact pool rather than carrying a government state-quota rule over to every private seat.
Use the UG Medical and Dental page
WBMCC’s site has separate pages for UG Medical and Dental, PG and AYUSH admissions. Open the UG medical page, then match the year and round on each schedule, list of who may take part and result.
A notice for one pool or course may cover a different group from your application. Read the heading and candidate conditions before acting on a date shared in a message.

Research the West Bengal campus before choices
Use the West Bengal college list for the dated intake and campus checks. For a Kolkata-area choice, check the campus name on the fee notice and the allotted quota. For a district college, ask the same questions about hostel and hospital travel. A city preference should come after the seat passes your proof and cost checks.
Collect the proof for the WBMCC claim and read the service or exit form. An old 2025 pause notice is historical, not the status of the 2026 round. After a current allotment, follow the joining checklist with the college’s own notice.
Disability (PwBD) seats: for All India Quota seats through MCC, your disability certificate must come from one of MCC’s designated centres. See our list of NEET PwBD certificate centres. For state quota seats, follow the certificate rule in the state’s own notice.
Keep the round record with the college plan
For WBMCC, save the pool named in your submitted choices: state, management or NRI. Keep the required claim evidence with it. Use the cost sheet for the private fee row and the reporting checklist when the college is allotted.
