After achieving a good score in NEET, candidates are advised to first try for admission through the All India Quota (AIQ) counseling. If a seat is not allotted through AIQ, the next option is to participate in the Karnataka state quota counseling. However, some candidates may choose to apply directly through the state quota without participating in AIQ.

Admission to Karnataka MBBS/BDS 2025 is based on NEET scores.
