Three local colleges and possible outside-state seats

Agartala Government Medical College has 200 places in the NMC file. Tripura Medical College and Tripura Santiniketan Medical College each have 150. Treat them as three separate choices when checking the campus, fee and seat pool.

TRMCC is formed under Tripura’s Directorate of Medical Education. Its official description includes state-quota seats outside Tripura as well as the local process. The colleges in the table therefore do not define the whole set of places a state applicant may see.

Start with Tripura’s official counselling portal. Check the category and destination beside a seat before assuming the local-college fees apply. Ask for the residence proof required by your claimed pool and organise it with the document checklist.

For a nomination outside Tripura, work out the receiving college’s payment and travel deadlines. For a local allotment, confirm the hostel and teaching hospital. Use the budget sheet, the vacancy guide and the joining checklist at the stage where each is needed.

Questions for your Tripura shortlist

For an Agartala shortlist, compare the named colleges rather than the city alone. Ask each one for the current hostel and fee notice. If the state process offers a seat elsewhere, use that receiving campus’s costs in your budget.
